The Proposal

Margaret Tate is the executive editor in chief of a book publishing company. Her subordinates dislike her because she is pushy and grumpy. She is about to be deported to Canada because of an expired visa, she convinces her assistant, Andrew Paxton to marry her so she won't be sent to Canada. They are about to visit the immigration officer Mr.Gilbertson but Mr.Gilbertson suspects they are commiting fraud to avoid Margaret's deportation. Andrew insists Margaret that he wants to be an editor and publish his book after their marriage. They are about to travels to Sitka, Alaska where's Andrew's home town and meet his family. Andrew is an ''Alaskan Kennedy'' that was Margaret knew after she notices that every shop in town carries the name Paxton. Andrew and his father Joe are arguing each other, his father is angry about their relationship with his boss and thinks he is using her to get ahead in his career. Andrew and Margaret had announces their engagement to everyone. During their time at Alaska, they had begin share many of their personal information  and Margaret had realize that Andrew and his father are arguing each other because he wanted to become an editor and make his own life, which his father wasn't like Andrew career and disappointed to him. Mr.Gilbertson turns to Alaska and had know that Andrew and Margaret had lie about their relationship. Margaret had to leave from Alaska and back to Canada. At the time they were at Alaska, they had really fall in love to each others and they were engaged again, but for real this time. ( From the movie story, we should not defraud on marriage because it is a big risk for us and we must take the action given what ever situation that we have. )

The Rommate

The rommate follows the story of Sara Matthews, who is starting her freshman year at the fictional University of Los Angeles. She's come all the way from Lowa to study fashion design and meets some friends in school named Tracy Morgan which is the same building in where they live. And quickly meets her new roommate Rebecca Evans that seems normal enough at first and the two become fast friends, but not all is as it may appear with Rebecca. Rebecca soon becomes extremely over-protective of Sara. She has to know where she is at all the time, memorizing her class schedule, expecting her to call and check in, and getting terrifyingly jealous of Sara's new boy boyfriend Steven. In the time when Rebecca was mad because Tracy had make Sara in bad influence to bring Sara go for a night club. Then, Rebecca attacks Tracy in the shower and threatens to kill her unless Tracy stay away from Sara. When Sara left her phone in their room, Jason called her but Rebecca was the one that answered his call and told Jason not to call her again. When Sara told Rebecca about the lecturer that kissed her on purpose, Rebecca decided to teach him a lesson by seducing him and recorded their conversation to make it look like he was assaulting her. In the end, Sara decided to not be friends with Rebecca when she found out that Rebecca was on medication. Eventually Sara received a text from Irene saying that she needs her but it was actually Rebecca. When she gets there, she finds Irene held hostage by Rebecca with a pistol. They began to fight and Steven arrived while the were arguing. Sara eventually stab Rebecca in the back, killing her. Sara then moves back into her room, proclaiming she does not want a roommate for a while. ( From the movie story, I had learn that we should never trust people easily and we must tolerate or respect others. )

Red Riding Hood

Valerie is a young woman living in the village of Daggerhorn with her parents. She is in love with the woodcutter named Peter, but her parents do not like Peter and wants Valerie marry with the wealthy blacksmith Henry. Valerie and Peter plans to run away from their town, but they did not go because Valeria's older sister Lucie died because of werewolf. The villagers venture out into the woods to hunt the wolf. They had killed the wolf, but that is not the wolf that killed Valerie sister, after hunting Henry' father is dead attacked by the wolf. The towns people decide to celebrate the death of the wolf, Father Solomon is a witch hunter he reveals that the townspeople did not kill the real Wolf. The festivities has interrupted by the real wolf, and the wolf have killed so many peoples in the town. Valerie mother was been scratch by the wolf in her face. The wolf is talking to Valerie and only her can hear the wolf. Everyone was thought that Valerie has something to attract the wolf. Valerie thought it was Peter are the werewolf but it is not. Valerie went to her grandmother house but her grandmother was died by the wolf. The wolf shows up and it was Valerie father's and wanted Lucie died with her mother because want to revenge that Lucie is not his real daughter and wants Valerie to come with him to be the wolf. But Valerie refused, Peter try to kill her father. Finally, the wolf is death, and Peter was bitten by the wolf. Peter had to leave from the town because it unsafe to the village, and try to control himself. ( From the movie story, we should not be revenge to anyone and be patient with any problems. )

Sanctum

This story is about a team underwater cave divers on a threacherous expedition to the largest, most beautiful and  least accesible cave system on Earth. 17 years old Josh, expedition bank roller Carl and his girlfriend, Victoria who has no experience wants to travel to the Esa'ala Cave, an underwater cave exploration site in Papua New Guinea. Frank was Josh father is a master diver, has explored the South Pacific's Esa'ala Caves for a month. While exploring a section of the cave known as Devil's Restriction, Frank and diver judes meet with an accident which results in Judes death's, fueling arguments and speculation among the group. When Josh, Carl and Victoria has got there, Unaware that a fierce storm has developed topside, it is discovered that communications with the surface have broken down. The storm causes a portion of the cave system collapse, trapping the remaining divers below. With the water level quickly rising, the group must now attempt to find an exit route through the unexplored depths of the cave, in the hopes of finding a path that leads to the sea. There are six of them are stuck inside the Cave and no where to out. Luko is Josh and Frank old friend man have died fall from slippery rocks. George from one of their group has gone to avoid from her chest has injured. Victoria also died from stuck of her hair with the rope, Carl is sad and alleged that Frank fault of the causes of their friends died. Carl is a selfish person, he hit Frank until fall down to the sharp rock and Frank died. Carl run and search for his own way. Josh is alone he want to find out way, on his way he found Carl floating in the water and died because he has no oxygen to breathe. In finding a way out, Josh almost give up and when he saw the bright from out of the Cave. He swim until he find out way, and he survived. Josh only one that survived from the Cave. ( From the movie story, we should not take the risk to go from the dangerous cave if no experience, and we should not arguing each other from the risk we are a about to take and should not be a selfish person. )

Monte Carlo

This movie is about 18-years old Grace Ann Bennett has graduated in high school wants a graduation trip to Paris with her older best friend Emma Perkins. Grace wanted that she and Emma only going to Paris but Grace's stepdad told and wants her stepsister Meg also joining the trip to France. Grace and Emma don't like it, Meg who does not want to go with the girls and refuses. She states that all her life she wanted to be friends with Emma, and now she's stuck on going on a soon to be disastrous trip. As they arrive at the City, they were hold by the tour for their trip and they have very cheap hotel's. They only have a small amount time and rushing to visit so many places and they get left behind by their tour guide. The trip proves to be horrible, as the day was raining they took a rest in a posh hotel. At the toilet hotel when the girls dry up and Grace goes into the stall, Cordelia, a spoiled British heiress comes in, complaining on her phone about a charity event she must attend. Meg and Emma was shocking because Grace exactly alike Cordelia, but Grace does not believe until they return to the lobby and the officer hotel mistakes her as Cordelia. Grace refuse to avoid and they spend the night in Cordelia's suite while Cordelia is not there. The next day, Cordelia supposed to go Monte Carlo but the girl replace it to them and they were going to Monte Carlo. Theo the son of the philanthropist hosting Cordelia was escort them to the ball and where Cordelia encounters a problem as she meets Cordelia's suspicious Aunt Alicia. As the girl have fun, Cordelia come back to Monte Carlo to attend the charity auction. Everything begins to crumble with Cordelia's unexpected return. Everything has change Meg, Emma and Grace. As their trip is over they back to their hometown. Theo went to Texas, unexpected had meet Grace and they fall each other, Meg has find her life back and date with Riley as they meet at Monte Carlo, and Meg had happy life with her boyfriend Owen. ( From the movie story, I had learn more about not to taking or to replace people staff and must follow the rule in everything what we do. )

Larry Crowne

This movie is about the middle aged Navy veteran Larry Crowne, was working at a big-box store with hard work to sustain his life. Unfortunately, he is fired from his job at big-box store although he is  hard working staff in the big-box store. The company has decided that his lack of a college education impedes any chance of advancement. Larry is live alone, cannot find a job and he almost loses his house. A neighbor Lamar advises him to enroll in the local community college and get an education in order to get better opportunities in the future. Larry decided to go college and buy a scooter to save more money for his life. At the college, Larry makes friends quickly with his younger classmates Talia that in relationship with Dell Gordo the group of riding scooter students. Larry has an experienced cook before  as a Navy cook, his friend offer him a job in the kitchen and Larry accept it. Larry start to have a part time job at a dinner kitchen to earn some money. In his public speaking class, Larry develop an unexpected crush on his teacher Tainot, who has lost as much passion for teaching as she has for her husband. His teacher Tainot was wrong and thought that Larry and Talia was in relationship. At the time Larry and Talia group was riding a scooter they saw Mrs.Tainot was waiting for bus at the bus stop and Larry wants to ride Mrs.Tainot to sent her go home as she was drunk. The morning Larry class with Mrs.Tainot, she wants to say sorry and want Larry to forget what was happened last night. At the last of his final presentation of Mrs.Tainot class, larry had a good presentation and Mrs.Tainot was proud with Larry. Mrs.Tainot is going to have lunch at where Larry was working and saw Larry and tells Larry that he got A+ on his public speaking subject. Mrs.Tainot and Larry has fall to each other, at the last the were together and Mrs.Tainot had divorced with her husband. ( From the movie story, she should get an education in order to get better opportunities in the future. )

Cruel Intentions

This is a movie about a high school student which is Kathryn, Sebastian, Annette and Cecile. Kathryn is super popular, everyone thinks she is miss perfect but they don't know the real Kathryn. Sebastian is her step brother who has slept with almost every girl in New York. Annette is a girl who wrote vows to wait until marriage to have sex, and Cecile just moved to their school and Kathryn is taking her under her wing. Cecile know that Kathryn has an alterior motive. Kathryn was dating with a guy named Court Reynolds and Court dumped her to go out with Cecile. Cecile didn't know about it so she didn't have idea what was going to be happen. Kathryn talked Sebastian into seducing Cecile so she could spread around everyone that Cecile was a slut. Annette was a writer, Sebastian wants to date with her and decides this will be his greatest victory. Kathryn bets him that he can't get her. They bets if Kathryn wins she get Sebastians 1943 Jaguar Roadster, and if Sebastian wins he gets to sleep with Kathryn. Annette's father has recently got the job as Headmaster at Sebastian high school. Annette is staying with Sebastians Aunt Helen while her parents sell their house. During this time Cecile is falling in love with her music teacher Ronald Clliford. Kathryn sees this happening and lets Cecile's mother know about it. Sebastian goes to stay with his aunt so he can seduce Annette, when he gets there he tries to hit on her but someone has told her all about him and she won't tell him who. He can't think who might be but he does know one guy that she knows, his name is Greg McConnell. Sebastian wants to ruin Greg life's but he was wrong and it wasn't Greg. He finds out it was Cecile mom that has told Annette all  about him. Finally, he gets past what Annette thinks of him and She starts to fall for him. This crushes Sebastian cause he loves Annette so much, and he doesn't want to hurt her. Sebastian told everything that it was a bet but Sebastian had really fall in love with Annette. Kathryn hates it so she call Ronald that Sebastian hit her, which is a lie. And Ronald pisses off, he goes to meet Sebastian and they have a big fight at the street. Annette tries ti catch them but she gets knocked into the street. A cab is about to hit her when Sebastian throws her out of the way and takes the hit of the car. Before his last breath he tells Annette that he loves her and he dies. At the funeral Kathryn is going to speak. During the speech Cecile and Annette have made copies of Sebastian journal and are passing them out to everyone. Kathryn is exposed, everyone knows about her coke problem and her dark secret. Her life is ruined just as she ruined Sebastians. ( From the story, I had learn more about outside people and as a girl we have to observed behavior. Not taking drugs or not having sex before married and appreciate all God had given in our life's. )

The Terminal

The Terminal story is about a man named Viktor Navorski from Krakozhia arrives at JFK International Airport whose main purpose to fullfill his father's collection of autographs of all the 57 jazz musician that only leave one had not been autograph, but his father died before he could finish his collection. Suddenly Viktor is a man without a country that unable to enter the US and unable to fly home because his passport is no longer valid. The security told Viktor that he has to remain in the airport until his status can be fixed. Viktor doesn't speak English very well, so he cant talk to or understand anyone and Viktor decided to wait and stay in the terminal. The terminal officer has gave him a food voucher but he lost it and he collects money for food by retrieving vacant baggage trolleys for the 25 cent reward from the machine. Then Viktor befriends with the three workers in the terminal, one of them is enrique who has fall in love with Dolores (airport officer) who gives Viktor food in exchange to get know about Dolores. With Viktor's help, Enrique and Dolores were married. Then Viktor meets the flight attendant Amelia Warran who ask him out for dinner at the first meet, but Viktor rejected. Then Viktor manage to have a job as a construction at the airport by earn money to have a dinner with Amelia. Suddenly, there was a Russian man with undocument drugs for his father sick, Viktor has help the Russian man and Viktor earn his respect and was recognized by all the airport staff. A few months later, the war in Krakozhia ends, but Dixon still not allow Viktor to enter United States. Amelia has help viktor to assist Viktor in obtain permission to travel US, but with the sign from Dixon. And Dixon wants Viktor to back his country or he will sent Viktor friend's in the airport through all their cases with the law. And Viktor was decided to go home but with his friend help the flight was cancel. Finally he leaves the airport and straight away to get autographs and done all his father's autographs collection. ( From the movies story, everybody have to be brave no matter what challenge that God has gave to us, be patient to human and we never give up in anything. )

Fireproof

Fireproof is an action packed love story that inspire into the world of firefighter, his wife, and a marriage worth rescuing. Captain Caleb Holt is a firefighter in Albany, he always warn to his fire department that ''Never leave your partner behind.'' But Caleb's home life is different story, his seven years marriage to his wife Catherine always argue over the common issues of married couple like money, housework, and outside interests. They are at the point where they both are almost ready to call it quits. Catherine always feel pressured to her home's life until she decided to get divorce and takes off her wedding ring. While Caleb claims to his friend and co-workers that Catherine is over sensitive and disrespecful, Catherine simultaneously claims to her friends that Caleb is insensitive to her needs and doesn't listen to her. Further she complain that Caleb's addiction to internet pornography and a large sum of money $24,000 he has saved up for a fishing boat he intends to buy, while ignoring the fact that she disabled mother is in need of hospital equipment that she cannot afford, and which insurance refuses to cover. Caleb tells his father John that Catherine wants to divorce with him, then Caleb's father challenges him to commit to a 40 days test called, ''The Love Dare.'' Caleb agrees to do the test, but more for the sake of his father than his marriage. Catherine initially sees through Caleb's half hearted attempts to win back her heart, which deepens Caleb's frustration. But with his father's encouragement, Caleb continues with The Love Dare, and eventually makes a life changing commitment to God without Catherine knows. Meanwhile, Catherine begins flirting with Dr. Gavin Keller at the hospital where she works. She begins open up to him about some of her problems telling that she cannot afford her mother need for the hospital equipment. As she's no longer wearing her wedding ring, Keller doesn't know Catherine is married. Ones Caleb was injured during his work, Caleb was sent to hospital where Catherine works and by the time Keller is treating Caleb and had knows that Caleb is Catherine's husband. Through the guidance of The Love Dare, and as a result of his commitment to Christ, Caleb begins to understand what it means to truly love his wife. He begins pulling more of his time at home doing housework and sometimes even leaving roses for his wife. Soon Caleb even finds the motivation to destroy his computer and everything on it. However, Catherine is still intent on filing for divorce. When Catherine goes to the home care store to talk with a clerk about the unpaid equipment her mother needs, the clerk said that all the equipment has been paid for in full. Catherine thought that it was Keller that paid the $24,300 price and   she goes for meeting Keller at the hospital to thank him. Meanwhile, Caleb find out about Dr. Keller through a card for Catherine that she left at home, Caleb goes to see Dr. Keller and warns him that, even with his mistakes, he will not step aside and let Keller have Catherine without a fight. The doctor get the message and would not dare to approach Catherine again. When Catherine was sick in bed, Caleb decided to take care of her. Catherine wonder that Caleb's behavior is different and Caleb start to tell her the truth and apologizes for his selfish and asks her forgiveness. But Catherine still cannot bring herself to trust him and believe he has changed. Days later, Catherine return to the home care store and had knows that is not Dr. keller paid all the price but only paid for $300 and the $24,000 is Caleb paid for her mother. When she get knows it was Caleb, she had shocked and back home to put back her wedding ring. She went to Caleb workplace and forgive him. At the end they renews their wedding in an outdoor ceremony, this time as a covenant with God. ( From the movie story, we should not arguing each other after married but we have to be patient or pray for asking help from God, and each person need to discuss together to solve problem from the mistakes that we have done. Lastly, never give up in everything what we have to succeed. )

Letters To Juliet

The letters to Juliet is a movie inspired by the popular love story created by William Shakepeare ''Romeo and Juliet''. It was presented in a different time capsule, we can consider the movie as the continuation of the legendary story and how it affects the modern world. Sophie and Victor are engaged couple from New York who happens to be on a business trip in Italy. Sophie is a neophyte writer while Victor is a Chef who is soon to start his own restaurant in New York. Victor who is quite pre-occupied by his appointments with his soon to be suppliers was not able to spend more time with Sophie. Being understanding Sophie let Victor do his thing and she manage to spend her time alone observing and learning things around her trying to figure out interesting ideas to write. While Sophie was strolling at the area, she found a place and she noticed that many people especially woman was busy writing down letters. She approached the crowd and starting to write her own letter. But before she finishes writing she noticed a girl bring a basket and start to take all the letters. The woman walk away and Sophie followed the girl wonder what the girl will do to the all letters. Then she saw that the letters were distributed to 6 older woman. Sophie introduces herself as a writer and ask the ladies what they are doing with the letters. And the ladies was telling that they were the secretaries of Juliet. Sophie was so amazed when she heard about them. It was in Verona, Italy, the city of the famous Romeo and Juliet, a place where anybody can write a letter asking for advice, simple questions about love to Juliet of Capulet. It has been a traditional practice at the city of Verona and the responses to the letters brings good luck and hopes to a relationship, or make wishes come true according to their belief.  Sophie was telling Victor how amazed those secretary of Juliet and how can it be possible that their chosen profession is to write back those letters sender as Juliet of Capulet. Victor was happy heard about that and relieve because Sophie found something interesting she can be very busy with while he will be away for quite some time to attend to an exclusive invitation  to a wine auction at Laveno. Sophie spends most of her time hanging out with the secretaries of Juliet. One time she is helping them to collect the letters, accidentally drops a brick from the wall when she pulled one letter. The fallen brick stone made an opening to a hole in the wall. Sophie leaned over to see what inside. There she found a hidden letter of woman named Claire asking Juliet for her advice regarding her Lorenzo whom she left without saying goodbye fifty years ago, the letter was written 50 years ago. Touched by the letter Sophie ask the secretaries of Juliet if she can write back to Claire, and they allowed her to. After a week, they have a visitor who happens to be a grandson of the letter sender Claire. Charlie, the grandson of Claire face Sophie and telling her that what she doing was wrong and could just hurt his grandma's feelings because Lorenzo might be dead or  might not recognized Claire anymore. And Sophie went to Claire, they have a nice chat. Claire was telling them the real story and her determination look for Mr.Lorenzo Bartolini. Claire allowed Sophie to tag along with them on their journey to search Lorenzo. As their journey continues, they have knocked to the doors of a man named Lorenzo only realize that the Lorenzo standing in front of them  is a complete stranger. It not just happened once, but many times, until they decided it is time for them to give up. While their journey back home, Claire noticed the vineyard on the streets was their favorite place. She asked Charlie if they can take a left and pass by the vineyard just to bid her last goodbye. While staring how beautiful the vineyard is, Claire noticed a young familiar face of a boy working on the vineyard. Claire instantly shouts to stop the car. At the vineyard Claire has founded her real Lorenzo Bartolini. The moment they found Lorenzo, Sophie bid the goodbye and return to Victor, unhappy, feeling that something missing with her life. She realized that it was not working out between her and Victor. Sophie was decided to broke up with Victor and went to Italy to witness the wedding of Claire and to get united to her new found love, Charlie. They have been secretly in love with each other while on their journey in finding Lorenzo. And they all ended up as happy couples. Everland Amusement Theme Park

Schuller (who started out with a "drive-in" church located in an actual, old drive-in movie theater!) and his wife Arvella, and designed by architect Philip Johnson, the church is made almost entirely out glass with a web-like framework of steel.
From the outside, the Crystal Cathedral is shaped like a giant four-pointed crystal star, with the main "cathedral" rising 12 stories above the ground, featuring a mirror-like exterior composed of some 12,000 panes of glass. The view is even more amazing from the interior, where the transparent glass lets in the surrounding view, sunlight and the sky.
The Crystal Cathedral also has one of the largest pipe organs in the world, called the Hazel Wright Pipe Organ, with 5 consoles controlling 270 ranks, 31 digital ranks, and more than 16,000 pipes!

Hallgrimskirkja

A Lutheran parish church, Hallgrimskirkja is named after the Icelandic poet and clergyman Hallgrímur Pétursson (1614-74), author of the beloved Passíusálmar("Hymns of the Passion") and other works. He was one of the most influential pastors during the Age of Orthodoxy and wrote many important Lutheran hymns.

The modern Nordic design of Hallgrimskirkja is the work of state architectGuðjón Samúelsson, who also designed Reykjavik's Landakotskirkja and the Akureyrarkirkju in Akureyri. The church took 38 years to build (1945-86), the tower being completed long before the church's actual completion.

Rising 74.5 m (244 ft), Hallgrimskirkja is the tallest building in Iceland. It is situated in the city center and has become one of Reykjavík's best known symbols. The church has a stylized concrete exterior inspired by the distinctive basalt formations found throughout Iceland.

Hallgrimskirkja's interior is more traditional, but its modern-meets-Gothic lines are still reminiscent of ice formations and the smooth vault reminds one of an ice cave. There is little decoration, in line with Lutheran tradition. The most famous feature of the interior is the huge organ built in Germany in 1992, boasting a 50-foot-tall case and 5,275 pipes.

The bell tower, accessible via an elevator, provides the best views in the city. The three bells in the tower represent Hallgrímur, his wife, and their daughter who died young.

The statue in front of the church is of Leif Eríkson, an Icelandic/Norwegian explorer and the first European thought to have landed in North America. The monument was a gift from the United States for the 1930 Althing Millennial Festival, which marked the 1000th anniversary of Iceland's parliament.
